The Beginning of Everything - Part 2

And there it was — one branch struck me on the head the very next day.
A word about the frog
Do you know that description where a frog is placed in a pot filled with water? As long as the water is lukewarm, the frog is happy to stay in the pot. The pot is then placed on the stove, and the water is slowly heated. It takes a very long time for the frog to realize it should jump out. I have always thought this describes us in slowly changing circumstances. Someone watching from the outside notices the change more easily than the one sitting in the pot.
Created for the universe
As I stated in the previous article (The Beginning of Everything Part 1), the frog and the pot are ultimately made from one and the same thing. Some magical source of origin. From that, every element, animal, molecule, atom, planet, galaxy, galaxy cluster, universe, and the universe itself has been shaped. So all these things are created. Nowadays, many New Age teachers talk about the universe and about syncing with it. About how the universe gives you everything you ask for. But why ask something that is also created? Wouldn’t it be better to ask directly from the one who created even those?
A word that didn’t feel right in my mouth
Next week I will explain more about how everything in our lives is a small miracle (I’ll add a link here once it’s published). For now, I’ll continue explaining the insight I had today. About what created everything. Again, lacking a better term and better knowledge, I must say God. I stopped asking the universe for hints and guidance through meditation. Instead, I began asking directly for guidance from God. What changed immediately was surprising. I started receiving answers and clear instructions quickly. Life filled with the peace and clarity I had been longing for. I experience small, incomprehensible miracles almost daily. And all I can do is be grateful for this.
So what should one believe in
Is this what it feels like to be seen?
"Have you been born again?" someone asked cautiously. Ironically enough, they belonged to the church and I didn’t. I don’t know how to answer because I never felt like I was “outside of faith.” I have always believed in guidance, angels, and miracles. I have believed in energies, chakras, the purpose of life, and manifestation. Of course, now I feel like I have come full circle and returned, so to speak, to the original source. The funniest thing is that you’ve been able to follow my journey into my own soul this past year without knowing the destination. How I have encouraged you too to strip away the layers the world has added to you. For some, it surely isn’t surprising that I eventually found God. For me, it was. For about three seconds — then I laughed my head off because it made perfect sense. This is where I belong. Here I am. Me. Full of gratitude, love, and joy.
The old me would have needed this
I am still me. I simply trust myself even more. I still don’t like forcing things onto others, and I still don’t think everyone should be the same. The world wasn’t built that way. I am still open and curious. I certainly don’t imagine that I know the purpose of Everything or hold some absolute truth. Or well… isn’t the answer to life, the universe, and everything 42? At least if you ask Douglas Adams. What will come of all this in the future, hard to say. All I can do is watch. And Believe.
Eager and curious for the summer ahead.
Let’s flourish together, each as our own true selves 💖
Bloom ❤️
P.S. I know that many understand the word universe as some kind of divine source. From now on, I will use the word God. To me, the universe is something all-encompassing, something that has been created.
